The Corfu Golf Club is one of the 19 greatest championship courses in continental Europe –according to “The Encyclopedia of Golf”

The Corfu Club’s beautiful course has been praised by many as one of golf’s best kept secrets in Europe. It was designed by the famous Swiss based architect, Donald Harradine and he has blended the natural resources of the lovely Ropa Valley including the river of Nafsika (Odyseus was rescued by Princess Nafsika at its exit on Ermones beach), with man made hazards to make the course a good but fair test. It is as enjoyable for the scratch player as it is for the long handicap one.

The treelined fairways and the sand traps combine with the several lakes and meandering streams, to make an attractive picture against a backcloth of high hills. A magical place full of animals and birds (kingfishers, herons, otters, fish). The course has been recently renovated, with major work carried out on the bunkers and an upgrade to the irrigation system, therefore keeping the course in perfect condition at all.

From March to November and sometimes beyond, there is warm sunshine and blue skies in Corfu but even in high summer on the golf course there is almost always a cooling breeze blowing in from the sea. Golf is also played throughout the winter in Corfu, so anytime is golf time! There are three sets of tees thus providing enjoyment for all categories of players.

The turf is very good and easy to walk on and every hole on the course provides infinite variety - and it's own problems. Corfu is a great golf course and it's fame is spreading rapidly as golfers come from all over the world to test their skill at golf and to enjoy an island which offers spectacular scenery, fine hotels, good food and a warm welcome. Itinerary in Brief

Day 1 (Fri)
Arrive in Corfu. Transfer to the 5* Corfu Holiday Palace Hotel.
One of the first luxury hotels in Corfu, this hotel is the only one in the island with a direct view to the famous ‘Mouse Island’’ the trademark of Corfu Island. Set in magnificent landscaped gardens /45000 sq. m./ with an abundance of pine- eucalyptus and cypress trees, well maintains its prominent position amongst Corfu’s top hotels. The hotel is very close to Corfu town and also nearby the major archaeological sites offering the perfect base for those seeking to explore the island.

Day 8 (Fri)
MARINA ZEA- POROS
In the morning transfer to Corfu Airport for the flight to Athens. Arrive Athens Int’l Airport and transfer to Piraeus
Yacht harbor, where you will embark the yacht m/s GALILEO.
Embarkation between 2-3 pm. Enjoy a welcome drink and meet your crew and fellow passengers. Sail for Poros where we will stop for three hours before
our overnight sailing to Kimolos .

Day 9
SATURDAY POLIEGOS - FOLEGANDROS
Morning arrival in Poliegos or Kimolos, two very small islands known for their amazing beaches.
Morning swim stop followed by a BBQ on deck. Afternoon sailing for Folegandros, one of the most amazing and less known islands in the Aegean Sea.
Walk the amazing Upper city and dine at one of the traditional Greek taverns.

Day 10
SUNDAY SANTORINI - IOS
Morning arrival at Santorini (occasionally at anchor) to explore its unique capital Fira. Optional Excursion to a
typical Winery with a breathtaking view, a tour of the villages and the small beautiful village of Oia. Late afternoon departure for Ios. Arrival at the bustling
island of Ios where you will have time to wander in the streets. Overnight in Ios.

Day 11
MONDAY PAROS
In the morning you will enjoy a swim stop in an enchanting bay of Paros island. Early noon arrival in Paros. Visit Parikia and
the quaint village of Naoussa. Time to have a fun night and show us your dancing skills during our famous Greek Night. Overnight in Paros.

Day 12
TUESDAY MYKONOS
Morning arrival in Mykonos. Enjoy visiting cosmopolitan Mykonos famous for its night life and the most attractive sandy
beaches. Optional Excursion to visit Delos archaeological site. Overnight in Mykonos.

Day 13
WEDNESDAY KEA
Early noon enjoy a swim stop and relax under sun. In the afternoon arrive in Kea, visit picturesque Ioulis, the capital of Kea.
Tonight is our special evening in honour of your Captain & Crew, the “Captains Dinner”. Overnight in Kea.

Day 14
THURSDAY SOUNION- MARINA ZEA
Early noon arrival in Sounion for a relaxing swim under the temple of Poseidon.In the evening arrival
in Marina Zea. Overnight in Marina Zea.

Day 15
FRIDAY MARINA ZEA- DISEMBARKATION
Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to Athens Int’l Airport for the return flight to the USA
