Saturday. Depart USA.

Sunday. Athens
Arrive Athens Int’l Airport Venizelos.Meeting and transfer to your superior standard hotel in Athens, located near the Acropolis and the Plaka area. Afternoon at leisure. Welcome dinner in a Plaka restaurant with Greek folkdances and music. Overnight.

Monday. Athens
Athens Sightseeing in Athens , including guided tours of the Acropolis (Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike , Erechtheion, and Acropolis Museum ), Theatre of Dionysus, Theatre of Herodes Atticus, Temple of Oympian Zeus , and Agora, where Socrates engaged Athenians in philosophical conversation and where a Temple of Hephaistos still stands. The Areopagus, where the first Athenian law court was established and where Saint Paul preached in 54 A.D. and received his first Athenian convert to Christianity, can be viewed from the Acropolis
Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

Tuesday. Athens - Sounion - Athens
In the morning visit the National Archaological Museum of Athens. In the afternoon a trip to Cape Sounion, Drive along the coast of Riviera Attika to visit the Temple of Poseidon, overlooking the Aegean Sea. Optional dinner in a local tavern on the way back. Overnight

Wednesday. Athens - Aegina - Athens
Drive to the port of Athens, Piraeus and take a local ferry to the island of AEGINA. Visit the Aphaia Temple, the Monastery of St.Nektarius. Return to Athens in the afternoon. Overnight

Thursday. Athens-Epidauros –Mycaene –Nemea –Corinth –Selianitika.
We will tour the site of ancient Corinth , where Saint Paul preached to the Corinthians, and its small museum, after which we will proceed to Epidaurus. Epidaurus is the site of the best-preserved and constructed theater of ancient Greece (plays are still performed there); it was regarded as a place of healing and renewal for those attending the tragedies presented there. Proceed to  visit is to Tiryns , birthplace of Hercules, with its massive Cyclopean walls and fortifications.  From Tiryns , which served as a satellite fortress for the Mycenaeans in the 13 th century B.C., we proceed to Mycenae itself.  Mycenae was the home of the Achaian warrior and king Agamemnon, who marshaled and led the Greek troops in their ten-year siege of Troy after the Trojans' abduction of Helen, the wife of Agamemnon's brother, Menelaus. We will visit the ruins of Mycenae, where the famed lion gates guarding Agamemnon's palace can still be seen, along with the palace walls, rooms, famous "beehive tombs," and other artifacts. Drive to the small town of Selinitika, where we will stay for 4 nights and make day trips to Olympia, Delphi and surrounding areas..


Friday. Selianitika-ancient Olympia-Patras-Selianitika
Full day trip to ancient Olympia via Return to Selinitika for dinner and overnight 

Saturday. Selianitika-Delphi-Selianitika
Fullday trip to Delphi. Return to Selinitika for dinner and overnight.
- Delphi was the most celebrated and mysterious site of prophecy in ancient Greece . Home of the oracle of Apollo, it is situated on the side of Mount Parnassus , residence of the Muses. We will visit the extensive site of the oracle, theater, and museum.


Sunday. Selianitika
 Day off for relaxation. Walking trip,cog  train to Kalavrita mountain resort. Etc.Trip to Kalvrita, Patras  etc.

Monday. Piraeus-Mykonos- Kusadasi (Turkey)

Early morning transfer to Piraeus and embark the cruiser for the 4-day cruise to the Greek islands & Turkey  Pir/Mykonos

Tuesday. Kusadasi-Patmos

Wednesday. Patmos-Rhodes

Thursday. Rhodes-Crete.
Stopover in Crete for 3 nights. Visit Knossos/Museum

Friday. Visit Gortys/Agios Nikolaos. 

Saturday. Visit Phaestos, Matala

Sunday. Heraklion – Santorini – Piraeus.
Re-embark the cruiser at noon and sail for SANTORINI, the famous volcano island.. Visit.. Sail at 21:00

Monday. Piraeus- Athens Airport.
At 07:00 arrive in Piraeus Cruise Terminal. Transfer to Athens Int’l Airport for the flight back home to the USA.

The rate is based on minimum 25 paying participants.  One tour escort complimentary.

Remarks:

Supplement for twin bedded accommodation on the hotels $180 per person Supplement for twinbedded outside cabins  $390 p.p. The itinerary can be replaced and modified according to your preference-for ex. the stay in Peloponnesos/Selianitika can be replaced with a 4-day/3 nights coach tour, with overnight stay in Olympia, Delphi, Meteora. Supplement $240 p.p
